I hadn't heard of IVOX. Is that this product:

We've been hooking the 802.11b handsets in via Asterisk. We spoke to the Asterisk folks and they have just been focusing on their major release version and are amenable to workig on IPv6 in the coming months :) http://www.asterisk.org/

It would help if others contacted Asterisk and asked about v6, to help bump it up their priority list. Asterisk is an excellent open source product.
