moonv6 post from "Ed Remmell" <eremmell@treck.com>
Just a resend of my yesterday's email (Jim and Rodolfo already responded),
since it didn't go out to the MoonV6 mailing list the first time I sent it:
I'm curious what his RAM and ROM usage were on the Coldfire target to implement this functionality (when I looked at the IPv4 version of uCLinux, it was an order of magnitude larger than our IPv4 stack) - a .map file generated by the linker would be very interesting to see. Also, I'm curious if he made any measurement of interrupt latency, which for Linux is usually pretty big (i.e. Linux is not capable of hard real-time).
BTW, the Voicera Communications Badge he refers to runs our IPv4 stack (www.treck.com). This product didn't have any mobile IP, although we do provide both Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6 for MN.
Thanks.
