Folks,
Later this week OMB will be providing further IPv6 Transition Guidance and the NAv6TF assisted OMB as SMEs. We were asked to assist as non-profit vendor neutral respected body and had a very short deadline to assist OMB. Initial review and input was first collected on the NAv6TF Steering committee. Then Yurie Rich, Yanick Pouffary, Dave Green, Merike Kaeo, and I completed various sections and submitted to OMB, and all of us worked over a weekend in January to get this done. This was a big help to OMB and we further have proven NAv6TF is an organization and body of SMEs that truly care about that which we call the greater good, and it is not about us. The OMB release will be a draft version, and when it is sent it will be public and I will be sure you all have it via an email, when I have it in my email.
Also I will be speaking Feb 7th at the Potomac Club regarding IPv6 Transition in Washington D.C., with others. See attached agenda and location. The talk I will do will be entitled "IPv6 Transition - Industry Best Practices".
Hope all of you are well,
/jim
