From: Bound, Jim (Jim.Bound@hp.com)
Date: 12/08/05

Folks, Geof Lambert does a wonderful job on this video ad hoc interview (Uwired LA), at the LA Technology Forum, and responds to rapid fire questions par excellent, talk about being light on your feet. Geof is also making connections consistently to expand the support for the MetroNet6 project http://www.cav6tf.org/html/metronet6.php in industry and government. Also I am constantly asked ok what is the IPv6 Forum, NAv6TF, and CAv6TF (now MidAtlantic v6 TF) relationship. It usually takes me 3 minutes, Geof did it in 4 seconds, impressive.

Geof you are over and over a wonderful addition to the volunteer International IPv6 Forum Community and truly a person pushing the greater good, thank you so much for everything your doing.

NB: Geof just popped down to LA and set up this ad hoc IPv6 booth, Geof your amazing Sun Tzu would be proud of you :-).

an interview with Geof Lambert

Unwired LA <http://www.etopiamedia.net/ula/pages/ula0-5551212.php> had a chance to interview Geof Lambert this afternoon about the origins, purpose, and operations of the California IPv6 Task Force. You watch t hat interview with Geoff Lambert, in its entirety, by clicking here

As Mr. Lambert explains in this interview, one benefit of the transition to IPv6 from the currently-dominant IPv4 standard will be the ability to allocate far more IP addresses than previously, allowing many more objects, as well as many more individuals and organizations, to each have their own unique address on the Internet.
